This is a well-preserved city with ancient dagobas, moonstones, beautiful parks, massive buildings, and stunningly beautiful statues. The Sea of Parakrama, a vast 12th-century man-made water reservoir is also one of the main highlights of this wonderful ancient city. Moreover, this is one of the best ancient cities in the country that gives a big experience within a short period of time as the monuments are in a more compact area. Later you will be transferred to the hotel.

Obtain some lovely images to use in your album. You’ll be driven to Nuwara Eliya afterwards. The town of Nuwara Eliya, also known as Little England, experiences spring-like weather all year long. The village, which was a favoured hideaway of the British during colonial times, is peppered with bungalows and cottages in the English country style. Due to the Kalani River’s rapids’ grades of 2 and 3, this exhilarating adventure ride is suited for even those who are trying it out for the first time. As examples of unusual names for some of the rapids, consider Virgin’s Breast, Killer Falls, Butter Crunch, and Head Chopper. This historical, archaeological, and architectural landmark has undergone substantial repair work by the Sri Lankan Archaeological Department, which has allowed it to retain its polished aspect even after more than 423 years. The fort has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in recognition of its historical significance.

Take a Madu Ganga River Safari (Optional): Later, the Madu Ganga Boat Ride, which is in Balapitiya, would be your final stop for the day.
